Hi, Double Gate Swim Parents!

Thursday's meet is AWAY at Medlock Bridge located at 10150 Groomsbridge Road Alpharetta, GA 30022. Our theme is a Hawaiian Luau - be sure to bring your lei's!

Please plan to be on deck by 4:30 pm. Double Gate warm ups will begin at 5:00 pm, and the meet will begin at 5:30 pm.

Tents: If you have a tent/canopy we can use for the bullpen, please bring it with you.

Upon arrival, swimmers and volunteers are required to check in at the volunteer check-in station to sign in. After checking in, have your younger swimmers head directly to their bullpen. Please remind your swimmers to remain with their bullpen group throughout the meet. Bring cards or coloring for in between races.

Heat Sheets: You can find event information on our website or through the Swimtopia App the day of the meet. If you are marking your swimmer at home, please remember that event information is subject to change; it is best to wait until an hour before the meet to mark your swimmer with their events. Please write their name and age group on the back of their shoulder to help the bullpen parents.

It will be hot - don't forget to bring items to help keep you comfortable - water, fans, chairs, umbrellas, canopies, bug spray. Please remember to help clean up before you head home.

Meet Information:

1. The meet will be held at our Groomsbridge Clubhouse located at: 10150 Groomsbridge Road Alpharetta, GA 30022 

2. Please ask your families to be courteous of our neighborhood parking guidelines by not blocking driveways of homes near the pool. Parking is only permitted on one side of the street to avoid bottlenecking the flow of traffic. We have a resident on Barlow Ct who will tow cars that block driveways and park in front of no parking signs. 

 3. The visiting team bullpen will be reserved in the grassy area in front of the clubhouse. You might want to consider having your families bring tents and bug spray. Families are also more than welcome to utilize our neighborhood playground located on the other side of the parking lot. 

4. Our Cuda Cafe will serve Chick Fil A sandwiches, pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as chips, candy and drinks. We will have Venmo and cash payment options. And a Kona Ice truck will be there! 

5. Double Gate will be in lanes 1 and 3 and your warmup time will be from 5:00-5:25pm. There will be a timers meeting as close to 5:15pm as possible so we can start the meet promptly at 5:30pm.
