Hello, Parents of ASA Swimmers,

Following are the details for the ASA Meet on Thursday, June 26 at the GA Tech Campus Recreation Center - 750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA.

Meet as a Team in front of the CRC: 3:45pm - Arrive in your team suit. We will write on arms, take attendance and a team picture.

DoubleGate Building Entry Time: 4:10pm - We must enter together!

DoubleGate Warm Up: 4:40-4:55pm in the girls pool lanes 1-4. Meet begins at 5:00pm.

DoubleGate Team Seating: Upstairs Seating Section 202 Row C, D (the team will go to our assigned seating area before warm ups, parents sit in the spectator area - see diagram here)

Heat Sheet: See attached for the heat/lane assignments or click here for full heat sheet. There will not be printed copies available at the meet. Pay attention to order of events - they are not in the normal order. The meet is run through Meet Mobile, not Swimtopia.

Volunteers - We have been asked to provide a drink runner and 2 girls timers as volunteers. See email from Katie Shenoy.

SPECTATORS – Spectators are welcome at this year’s meet, admission is free. Spectators must remain in the spectator gallery in designated spectator seating areas. Spectators are not allowed on the pool deck, unless they have a credential as a meet volunteer or designated team official. Spectators should not sit in the team seating areas located over the diving well.

Food/Drink - Small coolers that can fit under the seats are allowed. Please bring your own dinner, drinks and food as there will be limited concessions at the meet.

Following is parking info. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Parking is sold out in the W10 parking deck that is adjacent to the front entrance of the CRC. Parking in that deck will be via PREPAID PARKING ONLY, you cannot pay at arrival. People who did not prepay for parking will have to use W02 lot at 355 Ferst Drive, Student Center Lot. That deck is a short walk to the building from there. A map of the area can be found at Georgia Tech General Parking Map and ASA Parking Diagram and Map Please plan accordingly. Please don’t park anywhere else, unless you want your car ticketed, booted or towed. Due to construction around campus please try to carpool to alleviate congestion. Teams, please be advised that barring a miracle, traffic is still bad in Atlanta. Please advise your swimmers and families to build in a little extra time to account for any delays.
