Hi Doublegate Swim Parents!

We are so excited for the Meet against Country Club of the South tomorrow! Our theme is Hawaiian Luau! We would love to hang team spirit posters around the pool deck, remember to bring any that your swimmer has made.

Please arrive at the pool by 4:00pm tomorrow. Wear your team shirt (and remember to put your name on it)! Doublegate warm up is from 4:30-5:00. CCS will warm up from 5:00-5:25. The meet will begin at 5:30pm.

Upon arrival, swimmers and all volunteers are required to check in at the volunteer check-in station to sign in.

Have your child find their bull pen (swimmers 6 & under through 10 years old, separated by gender). There are signs! Help the bullpen volunteers and coaches by instructing your swimmer to remain with their group in the bullpen. Being together builds team spirit and also helps keep track of the swimmers prior to their races.

Help the bullpen parents by writing your child's first name and age group on their shoulder. Heat sheets will be published on the Swimtopia app the day of the meet with heat/lane assignments - this is subject to change.

Concessions: There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, buttered noodles, chips, candy, and drinks available for purchase. Our concessions are CASH ONLY. Please also bring small bills to use. It helps a lot!

Parking: If the swim & tennis parking lot is full, you may park on the street. Please park on the same side of the street as the pool.

WHAT TO BRING TO A MEET

Swimmers:

2 towels

Something to sit on (folding chair, extra towel or blanket)

Swim cap

2 pairs of goggles

Footwear – flip flops or crocs

Games – cards, coloring – swimmers are responsible for their own items.

Money for concessions stands (or your own snacks and water)

T-shirts and shorts to change into.

Sunscreen

Bag to put all the above in.

Spectators:

Seating is limited. Please feel free to bring a folding chair.

Pen (you may want to write down your child’s event/heat/lane info)

Money for concessions (concession profits are used to purchase equipment, trophies and fund swim team activities).
