Important: Mock Meet Information - May 20, 2024

Hi Doublegate 10 & Under Parents!

We are so excited for the Mock Meet tomorrow! We expect to swim rain or shine, but please monitor your email for any updates. Please arrive at the pool by 4:30pm tomorrow. Wear your team shirt (and remember to put your name on it)! Each age group will swim a short warm up and the meet will begin at 5:30pm.

Upon arrival, swimmers and volunteers are required to check in at the volunteer check-in station to sign in.

Have your child find their bull pen (swimmers 6 & under through 10 years old, separated by gender). Help the bullpen volunteers and coaches by instructing your swimmer to remain with their group in the bullpen. Being together builds team spirit and also helps keep track of the swimmers prior to their races.

Concessions: There will be pizza and drinks available for purchase - Remember we are cash only. Regular swim meets beginning Thursday May 30 will have a larger selection of food items.

Parking: If the swim & tennis parking lot is full, you may park on the street. Please park on the same side of the street as the pool.

WHAT TO BRING TO A MEET

Swimmers:

  • 2 towels
  • Something to sit on (folding chair, extra towel or blanket)
  • Swim cap
  • 2 pairs of goggles
  • Footwear – flip flops or crocs
  • Games – cards, game boy or the like – swimmers are responsible for their own items.
  • Money (cash) for concessions stands (or your own snacks and water)
  • T-shirts and shorts to change into.
  • Sunscreen
  • Bag to put all the above in.


    • Spectators:

  • Seating is limited. Please feel free to bring a folding chair.
  • Sunscreen
  • Pen (you may want to write down your child’s event/heat/lane info)
  • Money for concessions (concession profits are used to purchase equipment, trophies and fund swim team activities).
